Video of the Commencement address.

I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world. I never graduated from college. Truth be told, this is the closest I’ve ever gotten to a college graduation. Today I want to tell you three stories from my life. That’s it. No big deal. Just three stories.

The first story is about connecting the dots.

It’s who you know

What do you need to do to learn and become better in your industry?
You need to go to live events where you can meet like – minded individuals face to face.

Below is an article by Joel Comm.

“Since you are likely to be passionate about a certain subject, odds are that you have a great deal of knowledge about that subject. You can probably wax eloquently on your topic of choice for hours on end.

In other words, you know your stuff!

And once you do, networking and relationships become the key to unlocking opportunity.

I can’t tell you how many times I have met someone who either directly needed something I had to offer or who introduced me to someone who needed something I had to offer.

This is why the social media sites play such an integral part of doing business in this age. And it’s why it is more important than ever to go to live events where you can meet like-minded individuals face-to-face.

If WHO you know becomes the key that unlocks opportunity, I recommend you build relationships with as many people as possible.

Seek to bring value to whatever it is they are doing and be amazed at what happens next!”    Joel Comm

Do you like to going to the movies

When you develop your presentation, you need to setup your promotional materials for the event (class)

During my presentation training at the Train the Trainer with T Harv Eckar, I found the hardest thing to develop was my bios or write testimonies of  others.

I did not want to sound like I was bragging.  Humble was the word!

Is this you?

If you invite your friends to your presentation, they will come because they know who you are, your background, what you stand for and more.

When your friends or new partners need to invite others to your seminar or class, they need to know about their instructor or the presenter or there won’t be any urgency to attend your seminar.  Even if the topic is good.

In essence, you will do all the preparations, promotions and wonder why the attendance is low or slowly fading away.

Let me give you an example:

If you read a good novel, and found out that it is going to become a movie, would it make a difference who the director, leading actors and actresses are to make a difference whether you will take off on a special night to attend the movie.

What other things will help you decide to watch the movie. …
5 star rating is an absolute must attend for you.
1 star rating .. You might have to think twice.

ARE you helping your new team mate’s propective (movie goer ) attendee make a decision to accept their invitation?

Business as a team sport

Rich Dad explained further saying.
“Business and investing are team sports”
Robert Kiyosaki

The average small business or  MLM team loses financially
because the team is about the leader or themselves.  Their team
is surpassed by teams that work together.

Many times in the MLM arena, we see an organization that seems
large and growing. But in reality, it is slowly fading away.

It starts to grow when everyone starts on a recruiting campaign,
then it starts to fade away again.

In his book “Team Code of Honor” Blair Singer goes over why you need a team “code of honor”.

Blair Singer’s Code of Honor

In 2009 I attended T Harv Ecker’s Train the Trainer program.

What intrigued me was his presentation on his book “Team Code of Honor”.
I purchased his book, read it and implemented it.
I recognized his principles at the company (one of the largest corporations ) that I had worked for .
I am continually using, prefecting and implement his ideas to bring “harmony” among independent

On the Playing Field of Business, Two Teams Come Together: Which One Will Win?
While talent is important, a superior team will typically win the day. The problem is most business teams operate at sub-optimal or even dysfunctional levels. The formula for taking ordinary people and turning them into a championship team requires vision, rules, teaching, and accountability. It’s not magic, and it does not happen by chance.

What would happen if you had a team that:

  • Holds itself accountable without you having to do it
  • Allowed you to focus on your vision and strategy as opposed to playing traffic cop
  • Was motivated and energized by something more than a mere paycheck
  • Is more attractive to money, resources, alliances and opportunities

What would your business be like if you had this kind of a team? Blair’s new book “Code of Honor” shows you how to get there.
